Celebrity City Chorus has a wonderful history. We have been educating and entertaining in the Las Vegas Area since we were established in 1962. We have over 70 members, ranging in age from 15 to 80, in occupations from corporate executive to housewife to teacher to health care worker and more!  Some of our performers have even made membership a family tradition, by recruiting their sisters, mothers, daughters and granddaughters! We've come a long way and our journey has many interesting highlights.

Each spring we compete with other Region 11 choruses, and in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010, we had the honor of bringing home the 1st place medal! As Regional Champions, we have represented our Region in the International Competition in Phoenix, AZ, in September of 2003 and came in 12th place! Continuing our quest as Regional Champs, we were excited to take home the 8th place medal at International Competition held in October 2005. We also placed in the top 25 choruses (of over 600) in the world in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in Fall 2007 and in Nashville, TN in Fall 2009.  

In March 2010, we became 5-time 1st place Regional Medalists and will represent Region 11

in the International Competition in Fall 2011 in Houston. 

We work with nationally recognized coaches in preparation for these competitions.

In addition, we perform throughout the community. During past years our performances have included a fund-raiser for the Children's Miracle Network, Ronald McDonald House, various holiday presentations at local casinos and community centers, singing our National Anthem at a Las Vegas 51's baseball game, and various performances throughout the Valley in remembrance of September 11.
